Gallifreyan Tattoo

I translated out a phrase (one of my favorite things Rory ever said) in circular Gallifreyan today, which was really painful and time consuming because between generators and people’s circular Gallifreyan alphabets that were differing it took me a bit to figure out how it actually is supposed to work. Even though I have it worked out I really want to tweak the positioning maybe or at least clean it up. I have the size right for a tattoo, and I’m going to work it into the sleeve I’m designing. Pretty excited to see the results I come up with. Integrating it into my tattoo style is going to be difficult but fun.

Got a tattoo yesterday! It’s been three years since my last tattoo, which is a shame. I find getting tattoos theraputic. This was my….eleventh time (?) under the needle. I combined some symbolic elements from a couple of my favorite songs and books as a positve reinforcer when things are going bad for me (I have Borderline Personality Disorder). I highly suggest you listen to the song “You Are the Moon” by The Hush Sound. It’s beautiful and calming and has some of the most beautiful lyrics I’ve ever read.
